What is a cloud service?

Co-Lo Private Cloud

Principality IT offer a co-located private cloud where we can host your physical servers in our secure data centre and link your office to your servers with a secure dedicated EAD leased line. This keeps your data safe and secure while keeping you in charge of everything.

 

High Availability Features

Principality IT utilises the full suite of enterprise VMware features, including vMotion and DRS, to deliver 100% availability across the entire virtualised IT environment, without the cost and complexity of failover solutions tied to either operating systems or specific applications. Principality IT offers a host of different replication services where you data can be replicated in multiple data centres for added security.

 

Backup

Principality IT offers a complete backup service using some of the most sophisticated backup software on the market. As standard we backup all your serves and hold 14 versions but we can hold as many versions as your business requires.

Leased Lines

In general leased lines are a dedicated private connection to the internet or cloud services which is uncontended and is subject to strict SLA.

Ethernet Access Direct (EAD)

Ideal for connectivity from 10Mbit/s to 1Gbit/s, EAD offers a highly effective method of providing point to point links between sites or to a Data Centre. EAD is also a layer 3 line capable of advanced configuration to use hosted and cloud services. Unfortunately these lines always attract an installation cost.

Ethernet First Mile (EFM)

EFM provides a cost effective alternative to other traditional leased line services for up to 20 users. EFM utilises existing copper line plant to provide leased line access speeds up to 35Mbps.

Data Line

An EAD layer 2 point to point data line is a secure leased line between locations sometimes known as a private or data line in the UK. A layer 2 line can carry all necessary security protocols such as vpn`s etc which a standard leased line cannot. These lines are used to connect our clients offices to our private cloud to maintain security.
